Moringa Tree
Moringa tree is a medium-sized tree that reaches about 10m high. It has a straight trunk about 10-30cm thick with bark that is whitish grey, corky, with longitudinal cracks.
It also has a tuberous taproot to tolerate drought condition.
The umbrella shaped tree comes with a loose crown of feathery foliage.
In season the tree is covered with creamy white, honey-scented flowers arranged in drooping panicles.
Flowers are insect pollinated and require a large number of insect visitation, with bees the most common.
